Cub Academy is a year-round program that offers all-day child care in Orlando, Florida, for children 12 months to 5 years old. Our daily activities and program schedule have been created to provide diversity and challenge for children in all age groups. We offer a structured bilingual program for children of all ages that include a year-round curriculum. Our activities include school readiness skills, art and crafts, games, music, outdoor play, and storytime. We offer a Full-Time contract, which is for children present at the center over 6 hours per day maximum of 10 hours per day.
Toddler
Program
12 months – 30 months
Toddlers program features The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos, a milestone-based curriculum with the integration of STEAM education. This program is designed to provide each child with a safe and nurturing environment that will stimulate learning.
Young Preschool Program
30 months – 42 months
Young Preschool program features The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos plus the integration of STEAM education. In this program teachers actively work towards potty-training each child. In an effort to prepare the children for preschool programs, children are introduced to a more structured schedule. Also, the curriculum provides a strong vocabulary enriched base so that literary skills may be introduced to children.
Preschool and Pre-kindergarten Program
42 months – 5 years
Preschool Program features The Creative Curriculum and Nemours Bright Star with the integration of STEAM education. Our Preschool and Pre-K curriculum introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. The classrooms are organized into centers such as reading, pretend, blocks, discovery, art, writing, computer, and math. Parents are aware of the child’s educational progress through assessments and parent-teacher conferences.
School Age Camps
5 years - 12 years
Thanksgiving Week, Winter Break and Summer Programs combine structured learning opportunities with fun activities that encourage learning and laughter.
