Summertime Fun for Your Little Ones!

A Summer Camp Guide for Parents

Whether we like it or not, summer is here, and the only way to make the most out of it is to enjoy this time with your children. Summer is a good time to spend child care in Orlando, Florida, and an awesome time for sensory play.

At a bare minimum, sensory play activities are super fun, and most kids in day care can’t get enough of them. It keeps children busy and at the same time helps develop their brains.

Here are four simple steps that you can take to give your child a sensory play-filled summer.

  • Make a plan.

Even if you’re not a planner, it’s important that you take the time to think about the activities that you want your children to do. Is it going to be once a week, one a day? A couple of days in a week? It’s totally up to you.

  • Jot down the activities for your kids.

There are many sensory-built activities that are intentional and do not require an elaborate setup. It can be a simple outdoor exercise or other things that can be done indoors.

  • Choose the activities.

Once you have a list of different activities for your children, choose those you know your children will enjoy. It can be as simple as going to a park or go on a hike to as elaborate as shaving cream extravaganza or sticks and stones obstacle course or any of the activities that they do in their pre-school in Florida.

  • Plugin the activities into your schedule.

To really make it happen, put it in your calendar so you don’t forget.
